Hail, wanderer. In the months of eternal darkness there is but one shining light. It is indeed the warming embrace of glögg, our savior, our protector, our dearest friend. Hail our glögg overlords! Down with the glühwein imposters!

What do you mean "seasonal alcoholic"? I keep telling you, this is how you survive winter!
Week started out pretty slow, had trouble getting started. Got me a second wind and finished scene 14, so that's neat. Well, it's basically finished, need to get some pics for the MC's phone conversation. Will get that done tomorrow.
And so it's only scene 15 to go. No clue how long it'll take to make, as I've mentioned it's spicy, so that always makes things even more unpredictable than usual. But we're pretty damn close.
Both last episode and this one has been a lot of setup, the payoffs should start appearing in next episode. Hopefully it'll feel worth it. Well, I hope this episode is enjoyable as well of course.
Once you go shortstack you never go backI've actually managed to order all of the presents I need to get in time. Always been a struggle for me, set five alarms all throughout this week to get myself to do it.
It's not like I'm giving presents to a lot of people, but almost all of them also have their birthdays in the next six weeks, so it's pretty much all of my gift shopping for the entire year.
Anyway, gotta get a little 4k Christmas special out as well. Did I not make a 4k set last month?Ah, fuck I didn't. Been to busy with the game. Well, if I make a Christmas and a New Year special this month it's all good! And I will totally remember that I've said so!
Blue and brown removes your frownI've been curious about acquiring Ursula K. Le Guin's book on writing, I think it's called something along the lines of Steering the Craft. But, as the smarty smart man I am, I decided that maybe I should first read a book or two of hers to see if I even like the way she writes. I happened to read On Writing by Stephen King for one of my courses, but I have actually not read a single book by him. That makes me feel a little silly.
Anyway, that means I read A Wizard of Earthsea this week. Was a bit slow to get into, but somewhere along the way I started really enjoying myself. She has that cozy writing style that makes me think of Tolkien and Lord Dunsany. Gonna go ahead and read some more of Earthsea, and then get myself her how-to-write book.
There's for sure diminishing returns in reading several how-to-write books, but I've heard very good things about hers in particular so I'm curious. If only Sir Terry P had written one. Then again, that would mean that he'd spent time on that instead of writing more novels, so perhaps it's for the best.
An elven trio makes the spirit... free-o... Look, I'm running low on rhymes, they're all being used on Christmas gifts and what notIncidentally I am also currently reading Dodger by Sir Terry P. When it was described as taking place in Dickensian London, I didn't expect Charles Dickens to be an actual character in the book. Anyway, it's making me think a lot about dialects and slang in books, this one is chock-full of 'em. Thinking of making a little study of slang in books using Dodger and A Clockwork Orange. Maybe that'll be something I can make use of in future writing some time.
Anyway, that's about all I had on my mind today.
Thank you so much for your support, and I wish you a cozy week!
