Angron Vs. Angrier Ron finale

Well, in typical Ceph fashion i failed to update as often as I would of liked. Heres a final comparison shot for size reference of the King of Onslaught dron Creature Caster vs. The new Anion model from Games Workshop. Im happy they are done, but remise to see things i could of improved on. All in all i had a good time painting them both up. Ive attached a few WIP shots of Angrier Ron thag i took along the way. Next up is the Void Elemental commission.

Angron continues

After Day 2, i was able to get about an hour and a half if painting in on angry man. Still alot to so but im confident he will be battle ready by end of the day. They gold came out quick and really nice. Based with bullet betty, overbrushed eldorado with a quick drybrush of genie gold on top.

A new project.

Got my hands on Angron before release end had to get him built asap. Hes a little smaller than the King of Onslaught from Creature Caster. No intentions of playing warhammer 40k, but thought the model looked cool. Plan to green stuff sculpt some guts on the deathwatch marines i ripped in half on his base. Ill keep updates coming when I can.

Where have I been??

Finally, I have a minute to breath and reflect on the last 6 weeks.  So much has happened and I've rocked off quite a bit of my responsibilities as of late.  Lets start from the top.

6 weeks ago we were expecting a shipment of bottles for the very large Creature Caster order of Cuttlefish Colors.  This was going to be the 2nd largest fulfillment we have ever done so all of us went in to prep mode to, hopefully, make things smooth and easy.

Hey everyone, been a bit.  Things are finally settling down and we're back to getting these videos finished up.  Huge thanks to Mr. Altir for helping with the editing of this one here.  We're showing how to paint Orange from Cuttlefish Colors on a space marine!

Its been to long

Hey everyone, i know its been ages since I've poked my head above ground. I was pushing myself so hard the beginning of the month to finish the models for emerald city comic-con literally everything else got put on the back burner. Skintone Teaser!

It took a week longer than anticipated everyone but we have finally finished the first video.  it is a short one.  We decided that we wanted our first video to be on what artistic inspiration means to us, and how we perceive it.

Updates

I know it's not much to report but wanted to let everyone know what we're working on.  We should have the first video, as well as the second finished up and ready to release this weekend.  Things are taking a bit longer than anticipated and I apologize to everyone.  Right now the timeline looks like this:

Sunday the 12th - drop first and second videos here on patreon.  The public will have access to them on July 12th.  

Sunday the 19th - our 3rd...

The beginning!

What an exciting time!  We are finally launching our patreon to bring the behind the scenes videos, tutorial videos as well as tutorial videos and lessons to you, our amazing followers.  Starting in June we'll be posting 1 video a week for the tutorial section and at least 2 behind the scenes videos / interviews with the staff here at Cephalopod Studios.  Looking forward to this adventure and sharing the ride with everyone.
