Update #61 Wrong order

Hello and welcome to another installment of Update, the terribly named weekly series of nonsensical ramblings, sensical updates on the progress of a game, and sometimes a slight overuse of ellipses.

The pictures today are from the signatures I made, they turned out pretty neat I think. Could always be better of course, but they're sure much better than anything I would've made a year, or even half a year ago.

The normal way of writing a story is to do a bit of brainstorming, make an outline of your story, and write a first draft based on that outline. This time I made the first draft, and then made an outline based on what I'd written in the first draft. Somehow, this seemed to work better for me.

It felt less constraining, so I could write the first draft and have it go in any direction I want, then I rearranged it and add better structure after the fact, to make sure that things line up and make sense. Anyway, now that I have an outline for the episode that I really like, I'll be finishing up the second draft and then it's off to Render City again!

 The shine on Grishla's blade is a fancy little detail.

There were 4 polls this week. Yeah, I still feel like that's too much. But they seem to be generally appreciated and I've had no complaints what so ever, so... I'll just worry less about it.

As for the fits themselves, I think they both have a nice sense of added lewdity, without taking it too far, so that's neat. I do think Saranhil will be quite uncomfortable with hers to begin with, but that's going to be part of the charm of her wearing it. I'm also happy that you guys appreciate the squeeze stockings on Sveida as much as I do, they just fit her so well.

I am surprised to see that Saranhil's main color is leaning towards black at the moment. That'll have her match Tanathil which will be interesting. It also signifies a big thematic change for her, which I assume is why it's compelling as an option. I certainly didn't expect it, but I do love rolling with things like this and altering dialogues and such to have it be acknowledged.

It's a little bit like improv, you get something handed to you and do your best to add on to it in fun ways. With the obvious difference that I have a lot of time to come up with things.

Of course, I don't really do polls on major story things that I have strong feelings on. I don't want to compromise on my vision of the game. But there's always going to be things that can go a little bit either way, and involving you guys in making such decisions is surprisingly delightful.

Back to the progress on the script. I think I'll be able to fully finish in the coming week. Worst case I'll be close to doing so. Which means I should have arrived in the aforementioned Render City in two Saturdays from now, which means new fancy renders to showcase!

And next week I'll be showcasing the new fancy fits, so it seems the render drought has been successfully navigated... Sort of... Oh, and now that I don't have any more fits to work on, I really should get another 4k set out, so that should happen soon.
