January is a Month (Happy New Year. For Real This Time).

Starting a new year with a pretty extensive list of things that were left incomplete is not the most fantastic way to hit the ground running: but the last quarter of 2022 was kind of a trial for me personally.

I normally would have planned to do a longer and more detailed update for the start of the new year, as well as put it up on the first, but I really needed to just take a minute to breathe so I'm starting a little late this January.

I'm going to forgo any big "This is what I have planned for 2023" until February's update and just kind of focus on getting my head together this month. Catch up on some of the incomplete work left over from 2022, and hopefully make some progress on the commission contacts.

The winner of the poll last month was the hoodie of holding and I kind of feel like I accidentally put my thumb on the scales with that one by how I how I posted the options. While I am very flattered and warmed by people clearly voting for the one I wanted to do the most, its probably not something I should do in the future. I also should probably remind people in the submission posts what holidays/events and so on are coming up on the following month when the poll subject will most likely be worked on.

That said I have two poll winners to work on that are basically short one or two page comics: Barria Bra Shopping and Hoodie of Holding. Along with the stuff that was half finished. Also coloring a comic for Will.

Hoodie of Holding is not referencing a specific character but I do have blessing to abduct one of Saburo's characters for it -or I might use Hilda. or Over One Hundred. or make a new girl. Honestly who gets used is pretty flexible and I might let you all vote on it after the layout is done.

Anyways. I am supposed to be sleeping.
