August is a Month and I had a Good Break
Added 2019-08-06 03:59:20 +0000 UTCSo taking a couple days off to recharge and de-stress was probably a really good idea. I still think the main issue why I wan't able to get more done on the comic last month was simply because I was focusing too much and not giving myself breaks or working on other things to cleanse the pallet. Inevitably leading to making it hard to focus and saping some enthusiasm. You can stare at a project for hours and not get anything done when you hyper focus after all.
This also means I owe an illustration from last month this month. Adding it to the pile means I should probably use this opportunity to fix my schedule by breaking up comic work days with illustrations. Giving me more stuff to post as well as a chance to let myself recharge for comics.
Good ideas but lets see how well I can implement it.

The Winner of last month's poll is Naomi Enjoying Some Growth, though Tama being happy was a serious contender and one I want to draw anyways so I might try and sneak both in this month along with the outstanding.

A friend told me a few days ago about a quote from Elon Musk saying that to stay focussed he switches projects every 5 minutes. So if you have like 3 projects to do just swap between each of them every 5 minutes. I don't know how true this is but Elon is a Billionaire that works 80 hours a week so he must know something about productivity.
