It's borderline perfection. A masterpiece. Animated or not, one of the greatest shows of all time. I advise everyone get round to it if you haven't already and avoid those pesky spoilers as you go.
It's truly special storytelling. Beautiful, heartbreaking, inspiring and incredible from it's opening moments to it's very final frames 18 installments later.
I'll be happy to never see a third season, but if in the future they revisit this world, I have faith in the creative team that it will be a tale worth telling.

another episode wouldn't have hurt flesh a few things out, but another season would have just had the story treading water. It all comes together nicely in the final acts... the last episode is seriously gripping!

2024-11-23 22:20:02 +0000 UTCI do feel that S2 is a bit rushed. It's very plot-focused with breakneck pacing and less of the quiet character moments that made S1 extra special for me. I'm all for TV shows ending with dignity instead of overstaying their welcome, but, in this case, I think one more season wouldn't have hurt, just to flesh out some of these storylines. However, I have NOT watched Act III yet, so perhaps that will uplift my thoughts on the season as a whole. Regardless, I am still thoroughly entertained and enamored with Arcane; it's damn good adult animation.
