Downloads for August Daters featuring Ariane in Paradise

This month is Ariane in Paradise, which I recently updated with a new Rachel model, seen above. This is the first time Ariane in Paradise has been the featured game since that update.

As you are all likely to know there has been some recent drama at itch-io and Steam regarding Adult Games and both companies are trying to figure out how to handle the situation. Because all of my games feature adult characters, engaging in consensual non-violent activities, I don't think I'll have any problems, and except for a temporary indexing ban at itch-io, which has not affected sales in the least, I have not been affected. Patreon clarified their rules too, and I should not be affected there either, but since I have no say in the matter, there are no guarantees. I'm working on other stuff just in case.
Alpha's and Beta's:
Dating in a World on Fire is on version (0.55). Chapter 1 and the first part of chapter 2 is available. I'm rewriting Chapter 2 a bit, hopefully I'll have it nailed down when I'm ready to switch back to it.

Just released the 0.6 "Alpha" of Date Ariane 2. It has new renders from the beginning of the game and "sprites" through out the game. The game will switch back and forth between new and old Ariane, but still playable.

It's only a matter of time for the same rules to apply to US users, and it's going to make me mad. I already had to do a Yoti verification at subscribestar.adult because I'm setting up an alternate Patreon just in case. Besides VPN, hackers are already figuring out how to use ad blockers to get around 18+ verification requests. It seems to me that the possession of a credit card in your name is proof enough so Steam could use that, but that's not good enough according to the UK.

2025-08-01 21:19:14 +0000 UTCThe situation is different for UK gamers owing to the Online Safety Act. Itch are blocking UK residents from browsing content at the creator level. Individual links like those in this post still work OK.ng games in my collection, but cannot view their entire catalogue. The UK Online Safety Act aims to protect minors (under 18 here) from viewing all porn and any online content involving sexual violence or encouraging suicide. UK Gov requires content distributors to implement a robust age verification scheme for NSFW content. Itch do not appear to be motivated to do that at this time.
