Pics 192: Early Date Ariane 2 renders

Been working on the "pre-dinner" beginning of the game, trying out new ideas instead of copying Remaster.

In remaster you talked to Ariane from a chair that wasn't actually in the room, so this time I decided to start the date with you sitting on the second couch to talk and get to know each other.

As you get comfortable, you move to the same couch and give her a nice hug. For the last 20 years, this has been a first person hug, but it always looked goofy. Thought I'd try a third person view. This might be nicer.

 The hug pose I originally used had Ariane and the player looking at the camera. Decided this made no sense so I changed it to looking over each others shoulder, but now I got 4 Patreon exclusives to share.

I'm including the male and female third party hugs, the outtakes and the "bonus date" nude versions below.

 New Daz Versions of Rachel?

Rachel doesn't have a role in DA2, nor have I given her one in DiaWoF yet, and I don't have plans to upgrade SITAR or Hopepunk City to Daz, but the Rachel I threw together for Ariane in Paradise is not very satisfying to me, and not to many of you either.

So, I've been tinkering. The picture above represents that tinkering. Starting on the left is the DMR Ella version of Rachel that I have been using from the beginning. It was a late 2000s model, and looks like a young Angelina Jolie. That's why when I made the Ariane in Paradise version, on the right, I used another model that looked like her too.

The issue is that from a front view it passes but when looked from a side view the face is too flat. So for another pass I mixed that model with this one which I used for the Female player character in AiP and some minor tweaks to make the third figure above which is my "new" Rachel.

I made an attempt to see how easy it would be to change AiP Rachel to this, and it's actually hard, so I'm passing in changing all the Rachel pictures in AiP until I find an easy way.

The second version is a Genesis 9 version that I made after I realized young Angelina Jolie might not be the best actress doppelganger for Rachel, Sydney Sweeny might be, so that's an option too.

No immediate plans to change anything, but worthy of a discussion.
