Date Ariane Remastered 0.13 now available

Progress so far: 593 of 1,217 images, so I am almost at the half way mark, but that is doing images of sets I have. Progress is going to go a bit slower as I have to build new sets, or make major upgrades to the old sets for the second half.
Also the denominator doesn't include new material I have been thinking about adding. I want to add an entertainment district across the freeway "where the old shopping mall used to be" (to keep up with the times). The art museum and amusement park will be relocated here, along with a coffee bar and maybe some kind of "escape room" place. Basically an alternate downtown with different puzzles.
But first goal is reimagine the old material first before I start getting fancy.
ETA: Android version available for 0.13!
Because of ongoing problems using Renpy to craft working APK files, I can't do this with every release, but I'll post one when I can.
The android version is a PC port to android, so buttons and texts are really small, and some text may overflow out of the screen.
There WILL be an optimized version for android at some point, but not until way late in the project.

2021-12-12 20:26:43 +0000 UTCFound another bug - Going through the Three Naked In A Bed path if you choose to keep your underwear on, and tell Rebecca to do so as well, when Ariane bursts in and ruins things it cuts to a picture of the PC and Rebecca naked

What I really want to do eventually, is do an Android version in portrait mode to make it easy to play on the phone, but I know for sure I will do a version like Ariane in Paradise that is designed for small screens.

The game is supposed to detect if you have a character created yet, and if you don't it takes you to the character creator, but that may not be working. Thanks for the report. The workaround, if anyone is having similar issues, is to go to the main menu and select "Character" and pick a gender and name.

During the intro I selected to bring a jacket, it cycled between the male PC and the Female PC in the dialog and showed the female PC when the player responds Sure that would be nice and showed the female avatar when it cuts to the picture of you in the jacket. Once I went back and specifically selected Male PC it loads up fine. I assume this has to do with cached data on the machine since I've played previous versions on it and there are achievement data etc that comes over. ETA: Small detail, Get Steak For Dinner results in an image where the steaks are already cooked.
