Comic Release Update #3 and More

    RecursionX comic will change from one page per day to one chapter per month. Here is why; last week, I asked a group of readers about their opinions on the comic. Thanks to their honest answers, I've highlighted some of the most important aspects. Let's take a look one by one.

1)  "Read all at once" - One page per day feels disconnected when the story is complex.

2)  "Push the NSFW angle more" - The aspect is always part of my art both in subtle and explicit manners. After the end of the chapter zero, that aspect was absent for the sake of storytelling which is unfair of me to neglect what is part of me from the start. So I intend to bring back that aspect into the comic as a theme. 

3)  "Nothing happens much in the story" - Or we could call it "world-building phase". The problem rooted in my love for lore creation and environments. I tend to spend too much making them. To fix this problem, I rewrote the chapter 5 storyboard from page 4 forth. The goal is to push the story faster, more exciting and discard some unnecessary elements.

4) "Too many new characters" - It's true that introducing many new cast all at once may split readers' attention from the main cast. The solution was carried out together with other problems by rewriting the chapter 5. I redirected the story to focus more on Roger and Saga.

5) "The visuals consistency" - As you already noticed, the visual style is different in every chapters. It's only recently that the style in later chapters is starting to get consistent. Currently, I've focused on the digital drawing with black/white shading. Also, working and releasing all pages at once could help. I wish to carry out the same process I used with the chapter zero.

    From all above, I've already applied these solutions to the chapter 5 I am working on. The chapter is expected to finish around the end of May. Hope you will enjoy it and continue to support the comic project as well as its creator. Please stay tuned and see you on the next update!
