I dunno what's up with me and getting inspired by movies lately but I just finished a long as hell script that's pretty based on American Beauty. So, a daughter's best friend kinda thing.
a little snippet of the script before things get spicy:
"Hi! Hey Mr. B. Thanks for coming to our cheer practice… You didn’t need to do that.
I think it’s sweet you support your daughter like that.

Thanks! Some of the parents think it’s too… I dunno. Too mature. I’m glad you liked it.
Um, I think me and your daughter are gonna go grab some pizza and then we’ll be home later.
Oh… thanks. But I have a car. So we’re all set…
