2025-07-05 13:57:03 +0000 UTCLoulan basically was on a capital punishment for leaving the rear palace already, so nothing she does here matters to that end. The scratch on Jinshi’s face was like an exclamation mark, and technically they did not even confirm it was her who did it before shooting, Jinshi said nothing about it. And the way she left the rear palace already could have taught us that she was scheming in a big way, then for the sake of the Shi clan supposedly, before her burning of the gun powder changed the angle. So, “we are not that smart”, and it ends like this..? As for Frieren overshadowing TAD, for me it did not, I watched both in parallel for half a year then and before was even a bit more intrigued by Apothecary Diaries, because I always loved old asian, especially chinese and japanese, culture, a little more than “just fantasy”. But I treasured those Frieren fridays and Apothecary saturdays equally. I am really happy I did not have to binge it later, I am not the type for that either. So, Maomao and Jinshi accompanied my life for a whole year now, and through yours and other’s reactions even longer, so thanks. And let’s tear up together one more time for the season finale ;-)
