2025-02-11 07:53:53 +0000 UTCI don't know if streaming this show is eventually your plan but something to note is the recaps at the start of episodes will be a tad bit aggressive if you're grouping episodes together to stream them. As Arcs get longer, so do the recaps and then the first 4-5 minutes is just a recap of everything that you just watched. Kind of annoying if you're marathoning episodes but also helpful if it's been a week since you've watched it. lol

Plus Oda just seems like a really really nice person. But they're all pretty friendly, I've seen stuff about Toriyama, Oda, Kishimoto, Kubo, and Gege all knowing and respecting the others.

Then he helps him after he sood up for his dream - Luffy decided to join with Zoro after he "decided" he's a good guy, for fighting because his conviction - Luffy was fighting the dog, but after he saw the dog standing up to defend his treasure, he decided to help him - Luffy decided he likes the mayor after he decided to stnd up for himself. Dream, treasure, conviction Make with this what you want :) Keep on with the fun reactions!

2025-02-10 14:23:34 +0000 UTCVA Check! Mayor Boodle is the same VA as the narrator in Dragonball! Two more things to comment on here: 1. A lot of Buggy's sudden tirades are lost in translation. Despite him having a big red nose, he's very sensitive about it so when he hears a homonym or something that rhymes with big or red or nose in Japanese he thinks they're talking about his nose and he loses it. Kinda hard for the translator to work around so you're just going to have to assume that he misheard something when he's getting upset at somebody about his nose. 2. Since you mentioned Dragonball, Oda held Toriyama-sensei in high regards as he felt that DB was the peak Action Battle manga. Oda knew he couldn't compete against it which is why with One Piece he placed a bigger focus on world and character development/drama.
