He was relying on capturing Deidara for interrogation but Akatsuki members are dangerous S-Rank criminals, they should not be taken lightly and killed on sight. That was his downfall.

2024-06-07 08:30:49 +0000 UTCThis fight opened shippuden so well. The drama the action. The purpose. In season 1 jiraya said every member of the akatauki was an S class criminal but that was vague. This fights point was to make make it clear that every member is a Kage class threat. Orochinaru we know was a former member. Itachi. Now deidara can all match or best a Kage in combat. That was the point this gave me when I first watched it.

The influence Naruto has on Gaara is amazing and pairing that with bad ass OSTs just makes it so much more emotional. I don't know if this was ever answered in your live stream on twitch but a Jinchuriki is a vessel for the tailed beasts. So Gaara and Naruto are both considered Jinchuriki's since they have tailed beasts inside of them. Great reaction. Can't wait to watch the rest.

2024-06-05 15:03:52 +0000 UTCGaara is just so cool he knows how to steal the show :D what a great Kazekage he is he did his best to protect the village, also showed how powerful he is :) Deidara though he is pretty badass himself not only did he lose his arm in the calmest of manners he even managed to outplay Gaara on his home turf, playing with a handicap cause he wasnt supposed to kill him, impressive :D if you remember back in the OG Gaara mentioned the full moon in relation to the beast, Shukaku, that it becomes more unstable :) but here Gaara kept his cool and stayed himself :)
