Hey Flexie, please watch 102-106 episodes by your own if you want, 107-135 are MUST watch! 136 - 221 are filers, and quite old, i'd recommend to skip it for the 1st naruto season. After 135, i'd recommend to watch the last one 220 episode and THEN start watching Shippuuden! The 1st Naruto season is really a "kindergarden" compared to 2nd season "Shippuuden" I can't wait to re-watch shippuuden together with you!! You are amazing, thank you for all your feelings!! 2024-01-18 22:17:52 +0000 UTCPersonally for me it's because most of the filler is just very badly written. Like cringe levels of bad. Characters act out of character, plots go nowhere. Nothing carries from the fillers to the main story. It's not only pointless, it's a cringefest to get through.

Without any spoilers those episodes(100-220) are chilling, exploring the world and all characters, without any heavy drama. I never understand why all people are like rushing somewhere by skipping all fillers, like we all die soon

2024-01-15 06:10:56 +0000 UTCI voted yes cause Main Plot aside its good team building and lets us spend more time with our characters younger before Shippuden. I recommended it in the stream but the Special " Lost Story: Mission Protect the Waterfall Village" is good to watch after 100 but before the Movie.

2024-01-15 06:09:28 +0000 UTCHonestly i don't get why people are saying skip this specific filler arc, IMO it is one of the best filler arcs in the entire series and it's not close. maybe watch the first episode or two and if you don't like it skip the rest but tbh the format of all the other filler is awful IMO. ESPECIALLY Shippuden filler, like yes there is also an exception or two in Shippuden but so much of the filler in Shippuden is so bad it's not funny. I stopped watching the series for years at a time because of them.

2024-01-15 03:26:05 +0000 UTCI will say it’s certainly not a bad filler arc, and some of the content in it is actually referenced at the beginning of the canon arc after it, so it might feel like you missed a little something by skipping the filler ironically.
