There was rough animation of what is would have looked like. and it some they were gonna go the samurai jack Season V direction. which everything is a bit more mature in tone because they recognized kids like myself how grew with this show are adults. Ironic considering how this show is. But the they kept everything the same as before which i really appreciated unfortunately wouldn't greenlit the revival. Probably because they couldn't turn it into a PPG 2016 reboot or ben reboot BS like they've done with classic shows from golden era. samurai jack season V work for the most part because the OG writer Genndy and most of the team worked on it. and it's the same for this show with Tom Warburton. but recently Tom Warburton continues to work on the concept, with recent activity in August 2025, like the announcement of a special KND panel. Despite Cartoon Network's initial rejection of the project, fans still show strong interest, and the idea could potentially be explored for platforms like HBO Max or Adult Swim in the future. So I truly hope this show comes back. Normally i don't want shows from my child hood to return in the modern era because most of the times they screw it up and strip away everything that made the show what it is. But if the Warburton and his team is spearheading this. I believe it could work but we'll have to wait and see. for now enjoy the awesomeness of KND. I put the show up there with Foster's home for imaginary friend's and the grime adventures of billy and mandy. which they do have a crossover.
