Yeah Amphibia starts off slow in the lore/overarching story as they want to build the bonds between the family and Anne, but when it gets to the story episodes they are really great ^^ Also I don’t know if you saw my comment on the first two episodes but Hop Pop’s VA is Bill Farmer, the Voice Actor for Goofy over the last several decades ^^
