2025-12-21 23:42:21 +0000 UTCSo, As for their promotions, I just wanted to pop in and explain cause so far in kpop, Cortis's promos have been so satisfying and on brand... They came out without any member intro videos but their first proper intro we got was on spotify korea channel, Then their own vlogs first was Pack it up vlog, from the spotify to the pack it up vlog was raw and music centric like even the vlog at their dorm was music centric. Then they went on promo run and surprisingly have done alot of promo in korea, they performed on music shows, Like 4 shows every week for 6/7 week continuous, thats crazy run ... Keonho and Seonghyen did Uju record(again another music based variety show), Keonho and James did video with Bada Lee(Another dance based show), They also did Idol Human theatre but even their episode was all about music production. They did studio choom, Did Cam 360 stages and even a small kpop festival in korea itself, including several music show stages and their debut showcases, the amount of fansigns and fancalls they did in korea was crazy.... Then for their US promos again, They did interviews but every interview was about music, Their crafts and such(which is actually unseen in kpop for a rookie group), They performed live on iheart radio, kpop room festival amd many other places but their interviews so far were always based on their crafts and music... Adding they also did fansign in US... They also did Japan fansign, Performed in Tokyo Dome at kpop festival, Did their own small mini showcase on Japan, even Japanese interviews they did was mainly based on music and crafts... They mostly did promote on Korea based on munber of performances and such but they also promote on US and Japan already in s good amount, and we tend to remember US promos cause its accessible for us English speaker and easy to remember... Also I talked about all these but if you look at the interviews, the talk shows or even the places they have chosen to be so far are all places where they can either talk about their crafts or show their crafts, There are many popular talk shows, variety show where Idols go on korea and its just for fun, those places get crazy numbers of views because they are funny but at the same time they don't talk about music, or crafts but some funny topics and As much as I love watching those programs, I havent seen Cortis in any of them at all.... Its evident that Cortis isn't promoting themselves, placing themselves as this funny, quirky, good looking, good with kids, humorous idols (which is not wrong but are the sole reason for those programs) but they want people to know about them through their music and craft, rather it be their dance or their songs or their story... I genuinely love this for them....

Yes, it wasn't perfect BUT LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT <3 For the spelling of COER, yes, core would have just been easier lol, But I think (Not sure, just assuming) they're trying to avoid the Korean pronunciation Ko-re, which has a double meaning/slang... 🤷♀️ Enjoyed your reaction 🫶
