Key’s albums just keep getting better! This is my favorite full album of his to date, though his debut Face (2018) was also really solid. When it comes to EPs/mini albums, my favorite is still Bad Love (2021). I didn’t expect your rating to be that high, but I totally agree! Hunter, much like some of Taemin’s releases, blends a mix of MJ and Lady Gaga-like vibes, with this one carrying a distinctly strong 2010s flavor—but with more modern production. While it’s on the darker side for Key, it’s still lighter than most of Taemin’s darker songs. Key’s music, including Hunter, tends to keep that SHINee quirkiness and brightness overall. I’ve had this album on repeat since release, so my song ranking has changed multiple times already. Right now, it looks something like this: Hunter, Trap, Glam, Lavender Love, Picture Frame, Strange, Want Another, Infatuation, Perfect Error, No Way!. By the way, I highly recommend checking out Onew’s newest album Percent! You already liked Confidence and Animals, and overall it’s much more interesting and diverse than Circle. I’m pretty confident you’ll enjoy it more—I’d even go as far as to say it’s his best album yet.
