2024-09-06 16:42:42 +0000 UTCI agree with you I think 2014-2019 was a golden era of kpop with the rise of Exo, BTS and Blackpink. I also think the Mama performances were sooo epic during this time, they are still amazing now (all idol group performances) but there’s many more music shows and outlets for idols to perform now whereas back then I feel like Mama was the biggest award show at the time so that’s why every group put their all into performances for that show specifically with that being one of the biggest end of the year shows! I also think back then there was more live singing with such big performances and theres a little bit less of that now unfortunately but of course there are still groups who almost always perform live like Exo, BTS, Blackpink, Seventeen etc.
