Faithful as far as he has admitted

Ben Burch

“Villains don’t think the way we do.” Which I think we are about to be shown is not strictly true…

Ben Burch

Oof...felt that one!

Weasel2000

Check the stew pot! There's a rabbit in there. Ask Michael Douglas for confirmation.

Robert

Whoa! Fatal Attraction, indeed!

brainwise

Damn, that wasn't where I thought that was going but it keeps Cmndr Heroic a faithful husband. I like that. Also makes his wife's death land HARD.

Vince Averello

I get where Commander is coming from but no relations are exactly the same though. Same with, no two villains are the same.

Taylan

Thank you! I’m glad to hear that!

Brad Guigar

Thank you! I’m hoping to hit a nice balance!

Nice turn of phrase with "playing with fire" for referencing Miss Match (literally and figuratively). This has been a great arc; some funny moments but also some very deep emotional moments, like this.

Jeremiah Avery

Excellent question! I knew "burned" was a choice, but I used "you're playing with fire / someone's gonna get hurt" for a very specific reason... one that won't be apparent for a couple of pages yet. And then, when you re-read the entire chapter, you'll probably pick up on it a little easier. (If I did a good job.)

Brad Guigar

Brad did you choose the last word to be hurt to emphasize the seriousness of the tone instead of the word burned which would have lightened it and tied it what happened to poor Sobek Rah?

Bhushan Harripersad

Damn, done in by the fatal attraction.

Syntroy Coleman

Ouch; a truly dark end for Mrs. heroic. . .that one landed, Brad. Well done.
