A new month, a new chapter!

We are well and truly into the Fun & Games part of the Westlands Arc now, my friends! This chapter is a good time to point out what my primary motivators are going into any new book/game/project thing: it's a series of images in my head of things I really want to bring out into reality.

Whether you're 2d/3d artist, a screenwriter, or a sculptor, it all starts with the image in your head, the scenes you can see so vividly that you desperately have to bring them out. So much so that you outline and build an entire story structure just to make sure you can get to those scenes. That's a real motivator for me and plenty of other people out there too, I'm sure!

In this chapter, we have this badass ronin with a pair of katanas in the body of a cute kid, all amidst a Wild West sort of setting. Our MC is an outsider and a stranger in their own body, and is completely underestimated by the ruffians who run the place. Just the image of a saloon scene like that, or a stand-off in the dusty road at the center of town is really something I wanted to capture.

Oh, an old face makes a return! Time to turn Kohaku from a tertiary character...into a secondary one!
