I'm a strong believer in things happening when they should. Especially with this shoot with jinxmynx, as we have been talking about meeting up for some creativity for a year prior. I honestly couldn't think of a more perfect day and shoot.

We met up in her home town in Bundjalung country. And she took me up to one of the natural parks there and showed me some of her favourite places to hike. The nature and landscapes around that area made me feel like I was stepping back into time. Waterfalls and shear cliffs, dotted the trail we walked on.

Mentally that day I was feeling a bit anxious as I had been feeling a bit off with my photography. But honestly I think I just need to spend some time outdoors with kind hearted people. Just quiet myself down and listen to the sounds of the earth while sharing a nice meal with a good friend.

I left the shoot feeling really recharged. I honestly think I couldn't have taken a bad photo that day, everything just came together so perfectly. We're already into February in 2024 and I'm looking forward to the next time I catch up with jinxmynx.
