to me that speech seems very "Japanese" in the sense of the culture social responsibility. Rather than seeing himself as a victim (even though we all know on many levels he is, especially as a kid who didn't "ask" for any of this/do anything to cause most of what's happening to him) he sees himself as someone who can be of service to others... that "cog" mentality didn't immediately hit me as sad (although it is in the context of the Jujutsu world, and how the higher ups do things!). But I was just thinking that instead of feeling sorry for himself, he sees himself as part of a solution, even if he's a small part of the whole, he can still make a difference in the world. I understand and admire that side of his passion.

2026-02-06 10:42:01 +0000 UTCi was a bit confused with the powers of kirara lol but they got it to make enough sense and it was a fun part. Itadori's part is so interesting because they talk about how he has a passion for being a cog but it's also so sad so idk how to feel for him. I do agree about the intentional use of the color red and the fire in that part too
