I'm 24 years old. I'm very ambitious about my goal of making it in 3D animation/ vfx - only been in my first proper animation job for five months. I love doing it and love working on my skills even in my own time, but I'm in constant fear all my efforts will be in vain due to it being a garbage industry. I'm a total virgin and never had a relationship. I need to expand my social circle since I think my current friends are pulling me down, they are mostly hermits that just stay at home and play games . Because of this I end up feeling lonely on the weekends and not doing anything/ other then working on 3d stuff. Though while making acquaintances you can have good conversations with is easy, making actual long term friends seems really hard.
