2020-03-04 02:56:24 +0000 UTCWell put point. His being an asshole is born out of frustration, but it also doesn’t excuse his behaviour. It’s tricky to balance him being unlikeable vs setting something karmic up that is interesting and engaging, from a writing perspective.

That said, if someone is just not attracted to you then they can't help it. It is worse when it is treated like a deliberate conscious choice just to save face by the rejected party.
