"I am starting a new diary to sort out some of my recent intrusive thoughts and misplaced feelings.

Despite his busy schedule saving the world and finding the princess, Link has been visiting Kakariko Village to show me a lot of interesting things about the sky islands.

It is a little embarrassing, but I am always filled with joy when he visits.

The first time I met him, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. I have heard so much about him from the princess Zelda and Chief Paya, but he was nothing like I imagined him to be. The tales I heard about him made me think he was some imposing, fierce and rugged guy, but seeing him in person it was shocking to see his soft body, his kind eyes and bright smile.

I am also amazed by his boldness. One time he arrived here wearing only his tight undergarments that left little to the imagination. I hope I didn't embarrass myself too much in front of him. I excitedly told him how we were kindred spirits, because if it was not for my position as head of the survey team, I too would prefer to be fully naked most of the time. I really don't know what possessed me to confess something like that too him, but at least it made him smile and gave me a thumbs up. Also I think my brain made this up, but I could swear I heard him say that he would love to see that.

I know better than to fall for a guy like him. He is completely out of my league. He is the literal hero of the world, and according to the rumors he and the princess of Hyrule might be an item, and even if they were not together, I have heard during my expeditions that he and the Zora prince have been seen... together. 

I should just enjoy his visits for what they are and stop fantasizing about hypothetical scenarios. Despite my misplaced feelings, I am truly grateful for all the valuable information he has provided and the amazing tales he has told me about his adventures. I would definitely love to go out with him and visit some of the ruins in... sigh... I am doing it again. I better stop here or this diary will turn into a work of fiction."
