November Story Poll Results!

Wow. That was both very close and an amazing spread across stories. I am, I admit, relieved that My Hero Automata finally won. Seriously, that story is by far and away the closest to finished, it's been a little maddening watching it flounder in the polls T-T. Win it did, though, so we'll finally be getting an update of it in November!
If your favorite story didn't win, fear not ;-). Pokémon Adventure will have an incredibly high chance of winning next month, given how well it did and the additional 10% boost it will gain. Yet, at the same time, Why Was There No Truck!? will be getting it's first boost, giving our lowest performer from this month its own solid shot. Meanwhile, both Pandora's Box and Stripper with a System did amazing for zero boost stories! Both with have a much improved chance with My Hero Automata's boost resetting.
I may try to sneak a small update for Stripper into November as an extra if I can, purely since it's a new story and could use a little bolstering. Doing so would mean going ahead with the poll regarding who Rylia summons first, though, so I'll have to put some thought into that. Feel free to chime in on if you like that idea or not! Going ahead with the poll, not the possibility of extra, obviously that would be liked if I can manage it :-p.

That would completely defeat the purpose. The poll is so that Patrons get to chip in and vote for what THEY most want to see updated. Not what I most want to write :-p.

2025-10-27 07:46:28 +0000 UTCProbably not, I only ever watch GX and didn't even finish it. The same old battles basically repeating on loop was kinda...boring. There was only so many times someone could scream about the Heart of the Cards or have an illegal battle to the death that they were obviously going to win (since, you know, otherwise the series would be over with the Protagonist dead) before it got super stale. Short of making it EXTREMELY AU by shifting them to be mages using decks to fight an external enemy of some kind, I just can't imagine it being worthwhile. And at that point, I might as well be writing something completely original anyway.
