Halfway Broken vs My Hero Automata Poll

Alright guys, gals, and others! I'm sure some of you, who have clued into the fact I normally put up the next month's poll just a day or two after the last poll winner, have been wondering where it was. The answer to that is actually pretty simple. Specifically, that the Halfway Broken vs My Hero Automata Poll rapidly proved so one-sided that I decided to keep it to a 10 days run and call it. Enough time that nearly 300 people voted, with the majority of the higher tier folks coming down on the side where the majority of everyone else was. That makes it virtually impossible for the poll to have ever flipped back the other way.

By holding off a few days and calling the poll now, I can set up the July Story poll with the new status quo in mind. Specifically that One Piece: Halfway Broken, utterly wrecked My Hero Automata in the poll. I admit, I myself am a little disappointed by that, as My Hero Automata is the farthest along of any of my works and might well have wrapped up by the end of the year if I'd been able to keep updating regularly. That said, this is a firm case of the people have spoken.

As such, as of July, Halfway Broken and Displaced Hero will be the two stories guaranteed an update.

My Hero Automata will still get it's remaining update for this month in a couple of days, but after that it will go into the monthly story poll to see how if fares against the other stories there. Which means we're likely in for a particularly chaotic poll, as I'm also intending to add Why Was There No Truck?! to the poll for the first time. The response to it has just been too overwhelmingly positive not to.

I'll most likely be putting said story poll up either late tonight or early tomorrow.

Displaced Hero Relationship Poll

There's another poll to talk about! The Displaced Hero - Sith Girl Poll has been running for well over two weeks and the numbers have barely changed in the last week or so. Given that everyone who wanted to have their say seems to have done so already, I decided to call the poll and combined the results into this post as well. The winner has, honestly, been pretty clear from the third or fourth day, after which there was really only some minor movement in the voting percentages. The results are:

Hexa Haeraran: 24%

Xel’Ka Ur-Ka: 17%

Samara Garahe: 15%

With a higher score than the new two options combined, Zavra S'hi is the clear winner. Honestly, if I'd been forced at lightsaber point to guess how the vote would go...she's who I'd have picked. Just because I've long since realized you lot are perverts :-p. Mind you, so am I, so that's hardly a bad thing ;-). Flat out stating that she was the kinkiest option on the spectrum might have been a mistake! Still, it was also true. Really, the only competition she had was Hexa, whose shapeshifting would have opened up the possibility of futa encounters. I have my suspicions that such is why she came in second place...

Anyway, Zavra is the winner, and that fact is also part of why I've closed down the polling when I have. There just so happens to be a place within the story where it would be logical to introduce her coming up in the next update. Frankly, of all the characters, her planned insertion point was the earliest. With the other three, it would have likely been an update or two before they were inserted, but the best chance for a while to insert Zavra is soon, within the context of where the story currently is. So...we'll likely see her in the upcoming update. If not, then certainly in July.

Now, with that poll done, I can also officially state the full pairing for Displaced Hero is:

Izuku/Aayla/Mei/Padmé/Sabé/Shaak Ti/Zavra S'hi

Six girls in total, the largest Harem I've ever attempted! Halfway Broken only has four. If this were any other setting I'd honestly be unsure I could pull it off. As it is...well, I think I can do it, even if it will probably cause the overall story to tip slightly more to the smut side. Not all the way, or I wouldn't have offered the option for so many, but probably a bit farther than I originally envisioned for sure. But, well, give the people what they want ;-).
