Mondays update for G&C is now online!

This is Rei's first full appearance in the series, and it's him nervously presenting as a girl, to his childhood friend, Milky. The idea, was to show Rei in the light of a girl, from the get go, and establish that as the character's normal appearance.

Now, let's talk gender identity, pronouns and what Rei is thinking... because I know this is all very important to fellow transgender individuals that follow my work.

Rei does not identify as a girl, and so is not transgender... not at this time anyway. Therefore, he/him pronouns will be used by myself, and the characters within the comic. Rei doesn't even understand the very feelings that urged him to put the girls uniform on, so to label him anything would be presumptuous, right?

Rei is an 11 year old boy, who for one reason or another, saw he had the wrong uniform and ID card, and decided, "OK, I'm going to go to school as a girl!". He put the uniform on, he styled his hair a bit, and proceeded to meet up with his friend, Milky. It was a decision without thought, he just wanted to do it... but why?
