This was BTS 'first time at AMAs so we are curious to find out how BTS felt about going to America to attend these foreign award shows!

I've been extremely busy and missing your videos but am finally here!!! definitely watching them win MAMA was great! they were the show stoppers for the first time in 2017 mama which was huge cause there was another big group and their fans absolutely hated that! anyways BTS always said how much they have seen that awards show growing up and how they always wanted to win there, so watching them constantly sweep mama every year since 2016 and getting to witness all of that is epic honestly!! so damn proud of my boys! and for BBMAs I remember making so many dummy accounts for voting lmao and staying up all night to see them win like wow the nostalgia😌can't wait for jimin's album familia let’s goo agggggh

Question of the day: Out of these three award shows, which was the most satisfying to watch? - can I say all of it? haha, but probably BBMAs. Namjoon's speech is my favorite! - I'm not sure if you read this somewhere but this comment from an ARMY never left my mind, "The difference between PSY and BTS is that, PSY opened the door, stuck his head, looked out, waved then closed the door. But BTS and ARMY broke that door open, walked their way out, prepared the diner themselves, and told America they'll be having tteokbokki for dinner." It's not the exact same words but I think it has the same sentiment. Anyways, just wanted to share that hehe. I don't mean to offend anyone or anything but it's just so amazing how that comment summarizes what happened when BTS paved the way.

The pressures he had to withstand as the face/leader of the group. The annoying interviews, the way he'd always have to translate questions and answer as he was some google translator. Sometimes he'd translate disrespectful questions into kinder ones for the members bc he loves them. I LOVE hobi and jin so much for appreciating Joonie. They're such beautiful supports. That constant praise like "you did such a good job Namjoon." "Congrats Namjoon" I'm sure that meant a lot to him🥺 ANYWAYS ON A ✨brighter note✨THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCES WERE LIT. MAMA Mic drop is ICONIC and they still talk about till this recent years about it being one of their favorite performances as a group. I CANT WAIT TILL THEY'RE BACK ON THESE AWARD SHOWS. Taehyung is indeed such a powerful and swaggy dancer. I love seeing him upon dancing vids with his buddies. I'm so glad he was added to the dance line in 2018 as he should be.
