Today we are sharing our very first reaction to TXT's Variety Show To Do. We'll be starting with your voted episodes 83 and 84 where TXT will be trying Flying Yoga for the first time! 🧘
This was just as fun as BTS Yoga episodes, but for some reason, it seemed like a more challenging class.
Since this is their variety show, we got a little more of an understanding of what their personalities are like.. compared to the documentary where we saw their journey as idols.
So far what we've seen is that Soobin seemed very quiet, he was cracking us up with the funny comments he was making to himself throughout the episode. 🤣 Kai seems to be an animated person visually and vocally. He really has a great voice for characters! 👏
Beomgyu was very expressive throughout the episode! lol he seems to be the more expressive one on the team. Teahyun was quietly killing flying yoga and seemed a little camera-shy to us while Yeonjun didn't seem camera-shy at all haha. Yeonjun killed the episode with his epic flip at the end! 😳
Familia would you say this episode and the way they expressed themselves is a good hint of what their personalities are like?

It hurts so much the day after 🤣 It doesn't really hurt on the class, cause I think the professor helps you a lot and only gives you easy moves on the beginning, BUT the dar after you get all kind of hurting muscles, I MEAN I was hurting in places I never hurt before 🤣🤣

My BTS bias is Yoongi, right? So my txt bias is Soobin, I guess I just always identify with the quieter ones 🤣 even if they have crazy moments. Yoongi, Soobin, Wonwoon and the list goes on even in the girl groups! It's funny to see that. Fellow Familias, do you also have a bit of a bias pattern?

2023-10-22 08:26:19 +0000 UTCi feel like yes/no about if it showed the members personalities, like soobin is quiet but with the members he is not that quiet i just think he was more focused in this episode, he is an introvert for sure though. and with taehyun he is hard to really read at first. he was the one i couldn’t really grasp but over time i saw his vibe and how he is as a person. beomgyu and yeonjun though i feel like this did show a good look into their personalities for sure. also just to help you say “huening” you say it like “hue-ning” :) glad you guys enjoyed these episodes, hope for more in the future!! 🩵

2023-10-22 05:10:24 +0000 UTCEdit: I did not intend for this to become what is essentially an essay, sorry 💜 It was a lot of fun rewatching this with you guys! Going into the episode my expectations were that Yeonjun would be the best as he is such a skilled dancer and tends to be good at everything, so I think his unexpectedly struggling made this episode extra funny for me. Soobin I also thought would be pretty good because he’s the most flexible member, but he surpassed my expectations. Honestly, Beomgyu is such a wildcard that it’s always hard to tell how he’ll do, and I think that is reflected in the episode because although he struggled with the pain, he did actually manage to do most of the moves. Taehyun works out a lot and I assumed he’d be able to use his strength to his advantage, and while I’m not sure if it really helped him do the poses, it did seem to help him get out of them faster than the others. I’ll be honest, I thought Kai would struggle the most as he’s known for being quite inflexible, but he did such a great job! Looking back, I suppose it makes sense that Kai was pretty good because his dance style is quite graceful so perhaps that played into it. Soobin is definitely the quietest member, but I think because he was so focused, he was extra quiet this episode – looking back on episode 1 of To Do (and just TXT’s early days in general), it’s amazing how much Soobin has come out of his shell, I honestly think he is one of the most chaotic members now! Kai is very animated as you guys pointed out - the members describe him as a happy virus because his energy always cheers them up, and I always feel that when I watch their content too. ‘Expressive’ is definitely the word to describe Beomgyu, that boy is LOUD! He’s known as the ‘variety show king’ because he just thrives and shines in that environment – Taehyun has said many times that he’s grateful for Beomgyu because if he ever feels low on energy, he can trust that Beomgyu will still be able to make variety episodes fun. I find that Taehyun’s personality is usually the hardest for people to grasp because he is on the quieter side, but I think he is probably the member that is most comfortable in front of the camera, he is just not as loud as ‘three-dumb’, so it doesn’t come across [three-dumb is the group name for Yeonjun, Beomgyu and Kai – it comes from Taehyun’s nicknames for them ‘Dumb’ (YJ) ‘Dumber’ (BG) and ‘Dumbest’ (Kai)]. Taehyun shines the most in variety shows where strategy plays a big role because he is very smart (I think he has won the most on To Do). As for Yeonjun, although this episode mainly just showed him struggling, it weirdly still feels like a pretty good representation of his personality as a maknae-like hyung: initially whining about things (maknae) before just accepting the reality and looking done with everything (oldest hyung). Obviously, there’s so much more to all their personalities (especially when they are not in ‘variety show mode’) but overall, I’d say these episodes give a good hint to what their personalities are like. I think in variety where they interact more and are less focused on a singular activity you naturally get to see more of their personalities, plus their dynamic together is really fun. I personally feel that both BTS and TXT have the dynamic of brothers, but the way the members interact with each other makes me view their brotherhoods so differently – to me, BTS are best friends who chose to become brothers and family, but TXT feel like biological brothers who chose to become best friends – idk I just find it fun how each group’s relationship together is similar but still feels so unique. (Also, yes To Do is still being released – at the moment it is on a break because they just had their comeback last week, but Soobin mentioned a few weeks ago that they’ve started filming the new episodes so they will be out soon) QOTD: I have not tried flying yoga and honestly, I don’t think that’ll change anytime soon haha! Some of it looks fun, but I feel the pain might overpower that…
