To know that the end of this episode was not the final episode and that I couldn't cry like hell, I had to control myself… For Mikasa, to give up on that dream to have a life with Eren, it was so rough. But at the same time, she's keeping the scarf and she's telling him she'll see him later, surely in another life. That kiss, with Eren's head, it was almost a torture for the viewers. They were never together, but they always loved each other. And Ymir saw that.

The First Part that we had some months ago was about one of the big subjects of this anime, about Freedom and Revenge. Eren could never be free of that desire of revenge, which was consuming him. But this Second Part is really more about Humanity repeating the same mistakes. For Zeke, Life is surviving to destruction but just to multiply and to destroy itself again. But Armin made him see that you can fight for Life, because Humanity can learn from their mistakes, at least for some times, and can bring so many beautiful simple moments.
