When I finish an episode of the show swearing, you know that I had trouble to process everything that happened during it. And here, everything shocked me. The main thing being Prez, for sure. You know I will never forget and forgive what happened in season 1, I refused to see him on screen for a long time, season 2 I was still rolling my eyes at him and it took me this season 3 to appreciate him for good. But seeing him out, gun in the hands, I knew something was wrong. The fact the guy was a cop is bad, but the fact he never announced himself as a cop, he intervened again guided by adrenaline and an impulsive move, that's the worst.
Do I need to talk about Brianna confronting Avon, her brother, and he can't even tell her the truth about how her son died and that he forgave his murderer ? Do I need to talk about Carver who moved a dead body to cover a place where drugs are tolareted, to protect it ? Do I need to talk about McNulty who can see now he has no real life and failed when he tried to have a normal date ? The only good thing of this episode was for Dennis : he wants to change, he's asking help the good way and it works.

This is one of the amazing things about this show. Late in S3, and there's only been 3 instances of a cop shooting a gun. And all 3 times, it's Prez, and all 3 times, he fucks up doing it. Once in S1 when he shoots the wall in the basement, a couple episodes later when he randomly shoots up at the towers when they go there late at night, and now this time when he kills another cop. Also, Terri knows that Jimmy has kids, that's how they first met, when Jimmy and his ex were visiting a school and Terri was there as an alumni.
