DRAWING WEEK 41 - THE WHEEL OF TIME

This week, we finished this new season of The Wheel Of Time, and at this time I write this description, I don't know how things are gonna end for Egwene, if our guys are gonna manage to get her out or not (or maybe she's gonna save herself, like the amazing and brave woman she showed that she is). But I know for sure that this character took a really more important place during this season than during the last one, and that the character found herself in the darkest place.
I mean by that, that during the entire first season, she was the little girl who flew away from her village because she wanted to be someone else, she wanted to show her powers to everyone, to be recognized for it. And we saw it hurt her that everyone was considering Nynaeve more than her. But, locked in that cell, being tortured again and again, she proved who she truly is, and also to herself : she's strong, she's brave, she's never giving up... For me, as a symbol, she represents Hope in this show. Hope when everything is dark, that light is gonna come. And if you're thinking about it, that's what she is also in this group, she's the sunshine girl, the light, the hope.
