Hello !
Avon is out ! And I can see a good parallel coming with his situation and Cutty's one. Like him, he came out of jail and he's trying to stay clean, to take the best of his new life. For Avon, it's about having no one and nothing not clean around him. But he's already getting bored by the legal business, and he can see that Stringer is at the center of the discussion with the drug bosses. He has a good loft and a good life… And it might not be enough for him, like it was not for Cutty. He's gonna miss the power, and I doubt he'll approve of Stringer's last decisions.
In a way, I prefer how Marlo is reacting. Because he's refusing to obey to the cops, because he doesn't accept Stringer's deal. In a way, he's really more old school than Stringer. A lot of funny moments during this episode and some little progress, but I still have the impression that the story doesn't evolve. Maybe because during the previous seasons we were discovering new characters and new situations, here we know everything and nothing changes.

2023-10-08 07:20:55 +0000 UTCWhen Dante and Kimmy (the 2 running with Omar) are arguing and you say she's still blaming him, well she has the right of it. If you'll go back to that scene in Ep3 when the 4 of them are running away after trying to rob the stash house, you can see it's Dante who actually shoots Tosha in the head while he's running away and firing blindly over his shoulder. You might have missed it because you were hiding behind your arms ;) https://i.imgur.com/sBLqyMq.png And I really enjoyed your analysis and thoughts at the end of the episode, you see things pretty clearly!
