I was fully prepared for Uzui to die : he was already badly hurt, he had poison in his veins, we had an explosion and he was going to protect Tanjiro with his body… Like, that's it, I thought it was done, I even prepared the tissues. I didn't think at all Nezuko could intervene because she already fought before, she went to sleep and last time it happened, she slept for entire months ! So when she protected them from the explosion, I was already surprised but when we discovered she could do something against the poison, I was like "wait, they're all gonna survive ?".
I knew we would have more about the demons' background during this episode but not that much, and yes, the tissues served me well. Their story was awful : the fact his mother tried to kill him so many times, his sister being such a pride but being used quickly in this "entertainment" district, what they did to her, what they tried to do to him, the fact they would have died like that if that Upper Six didn't intervene… And what really got me, it was him regretting his sister's life, trying to make her have a better "life in death"...

Hello ! Yes, I really thought one of them would die and it almost felt "unrealistic" to not loose at least one of them 😅 For the new season of Demon Slayer (and also for Attack On Titan), I'm gonna do like I always do for each shows I bingewatch for some seasons and then I wait with you guys for the new season, I will watch/react/post my video for each new episode when it's out. Because I'm way too curious and I can not wait, and also because it's the best way to avoid spoilers 🙈

2023-01-03 09:08:51 +0000 UTCBIG SAME. After the Mugen Train Arc, I was fully expecting both Uzui *and* Inosuke to die because I thought the show was being dark like that. But words cannot describe how happy I was when I figured out that they were all going to survive. I really enjoy how this show subverts expectations because it just helps in making you more emotional at the moment. They do it so well. And yes, the back story of Gyutaro and Ume, as well as their final conversation, was just heart wrenching. I love that this show gives us a view of the villains' lives and regrets. I think half that episode was dedicated to them. From Tanjiro finding their heads, to the siblings marching into hell, it just hurt so good. Looking forward to more of the story and your reactions. Though, I guess this is the same question I have for Attack on Titan, when they do release, are you going to watch them live as new episodes come out every week or are you going to watch them delayed so you can binge watch them two or three at a time?

2023-01-03 01:37:26 +0000 UTCOh it's gonna be out in theaters ? It's gonna be like the train arc, with a theater version and a version in episodes ? I'm not sure what to expect for next season... The fact is that we have two hashiras out and our guys just killed one of the big demons, so... I hope that at least one is gonna become an hashira. But I think we're also gonna have them continue their training with each time a new hashira, so maybe this time Sanemi ? And I expect some new answers, about Tanjiro's dad.
