Hello !
After the reveal of the last episode, with Rui who was creating a pretend family because he didn't have any memory of his real one, I really didn't think we would have another flashback with him. Even more because we discovered during it his real family. Parents who felt sorry for him when he was sick and weak, and who were still sorry when he was changed into a demon, who didn't want him to commit these crimes. But Rui had in mind that idea of family bonds, someone ok to sacrifice his/herself for you, and he didn't see that it was what they wanted to do.
His story was sad, but it was hard to feel sorry for him. The writers really had me only at the end, with Tanjiro being so nice again and giving him that warm hand, and Rui making peace in his death with his parents. And now ? Our guys need time to heal for sure, but also to defend Nezuko's case. In front of the Master ! We're gonna see him !! And all of the other Hashira ! That's gonna be awesome. And hell for me to remember all of their names.
