House of Hellish Harlots - update 8th Mar '20
Added 2020-03-09 00:24:34 +0000 UTCA frustrating week unfortunately.
On the one hand the coding part went relatively smoothly. Ailments now have an effect on harlot selection. A player with boob fixation might find some harlot choices made for them. I've also replaced semen count with a more cryptic description to make some visits when running low a little more... interesting.
(This is only as a trial measure to see if players find it annoying or not.)
The main stumbling block was on the first drafts of the repeat visits. I struggled to get that going. I think it's because the scenario is different enough to not be odd sentence tweaks, but is still close enough that I can't just go wild and write it from scratch. Whatever it is, it's a bit stuck at the moment.
I don't want to give up on repeat visits, because they do open up fun possibilities. I just need to figure out an easier way of writing them.
On the plus side, Boobella will definitely be in the next release. After getting stuck on Mamilla, I switched to typing up her scenario and that's currently at 2,000 words and counting.
I'll still stick to the same release plan, but if I do find myself going a bit slow, I might start writing some of the future scenarios to clear my head again. Maybe run two new releases out in reasonably quick succession if I can get some of the 1st drafts done of the next batch of harlots/NPC_Nurse.
