Update! 11.02.21

Hello to all you amazing people with hearts of gold. First, I am still writing. The current chapter of The Last Prayer is at 8k words. That's not a lot, but there's a reason, which is why I'm writing this little PSA.

Life stuff is still the same; work, family, friends, working out, the usual.

The delay is with the story. I admit, I hit a road block with TLP. I knew what I wanted to write, but none of it seemed good enough. This story is getting closer to the end. Let's face it, Naruto is already hella strong and most of the girls are already on board. My guess is another 200K before it's over. So I know what needs to happen, the conflicts and threads that need to be resolved, but HOW they need to happen is what I was having trouble with, because the stuff I was coming up with was too simple. I had too many scenes of people in a room talking and figuring things out right then and there. There was no build up to something important. Nothing that I believed was satisfying. 

So I started outlining the remainder of the story, which is taking some time. I'm finishing all the story beats in the outline, fleshing it out, and rearranging as needed to get something more fun and exciting to read. My outline already went past the Kumo stuff and is in Iwagakure territory. I've also outlined an Akatsuki attack. Anyway, I'll be uploading the new chapter soonish. It'll require a few more passes before I upload.

Lastly, I'm curious if anyone here reads Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanfiction. The three fandoms that I've wanted to write about since the beginning of my writing career was Harry Potter, Naruto, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have a solid idea for a BtVS fic and was thinking about talking to a beta to help develop it. I've never used a beta with my other stories so, I'm interested in experiencing that process. I'm really hoping for a better story for everyone to read and I wonder if a beta can help me do that.
