Weekly dev log #1 June 12th, 2023

I don't think it's hard to see where I got inspired to write OUROBOROS forest setting when you see where I walk my dog :> Above are two photos from the forest trail I'm lucky enough to live by, and a bonus appearance of my dog, Nana. I wish I could post the scent of these photos, it is my favorite part about this trail. Musty earth, dry bark and the fresh undertone of water. There is a frog pond around the bend that I have sat by for many hours, thinking about the world of Ouro. Dreamy sigh.

What a week it has been! My head is spinning from quitting work and diving straight into working on OUROBOROS, and it has been so satisfying, seeing everything I have worked on for the past month become reality, especially with the update coming out today, tying it all together. The fact that you all have decided to support me has me walking around with butterflies in my stomach constantly! You know when you're in a car and drive over a little hill with some speed, and you get that tingle in your stomach? Yeah. That's what it feels like. :D

Since it is the first dev log, I don't have much to report on the events of last week that you don't already know. Over the weekend, I answered a few asks on both my old and new tumblr, and queued up a handful to go up throughout the week.
I also got some suggestions from you to do some character memes, on discord, which I am very excited about doing. :D I also started my collection of meme-video clips (like vines, or tiktoks) that I will be gathering into a "Vines but they are characters from OUROBOROS" compilation. I'm going to have so much fun with that :>

This week writing wise, I am setting my sights to the next chapter of OUROBOROS. I have set my word target at a very manageable 350 words per day (which seems to be a perfect low pressure amount that always leads to more words lol) for the next week, as I need to refill my creative well after writing so much. For the past week, I have been writing over 2k words every day! I am insanely proud of myself, and very much looking forward to read some IF and get the engine running for the next chapter. And what a chapter. The conclusion to Act 1, the rubicon of events that will once more turn the hunters life upside down. Who will they trust? What will they do? What direction will they walk?
I cannot wait to conclude this act!
