This is it! It's been a long time coming, but at last, the climax! We pick up right from last month's chapter and dive headlong into an an emotional roller coaster as Ellen finally comes up with a plan to confront Elizabeth once and for all. But with the fates of Evan and the device caught up in the balance, will she will she survive? Will she triumph? Read on to find out!
I want to give a quick apology for the delay on this chapter. I wanted to have it up last week, but given how important this one is, I didn't want to rush it. The good news is that your wait has been rewarded: in addition to being probably the most important chapter, it is also technically the longest, just narrowly beating out chapter 20 by 100 words.
As always, I want to give a special thanks to the love of my life, without who's presence in my heart I'd not know how to write love. You are the bed of my ocean.
