Development Update 0.20 #1 & CG Poll Results

Evening everyone,
Here with the first development update letting you in on what we've been doing so far, and we've been making steady progress.

Firstly, we've been working on adding in the cat so many of you have demanded be placed in the game as an adoptable cat. Now is a good time to add the cat in since we have some extra development time to clean things up a bit.
It's been going smoothly so far, save for one hiccup we had in the beginning getting the cat to show up in the house. Stubborn thing. Still programming the cat and hope to have it fully implemented properly by Friday since we're waiting on Aqil to finish up a few other drawings of the cat.

We finally have all the parts to begin work on Chelsea's sprite overhaul. I'm going to be experimenting with the new system to get a handle on how to display her in this new way.

We've separated this month and new months art development into two parts. This month we'll be working on creating the lineart for all the CGs we need. Far quicker to make the lineart than to color it. Then in March we can have Houpo and Bluereist working together on coloring in all the CGs. I'm unsure how many CGs we can get done in this way, but I'm hopeful for something great!

And Lastly, the CG Poll results are...

Nate & Co. Bar Scene!
Most of our team, myself included was fairly certain the Violet CG Scene would be the one to come out on top. So we'll get to work on that CG scene first to ensure it gets into 0.20.
