676 Temple of Enlightenment
Added 2023-06-15 23:19:00 +0000 UTCIn Temple of Enlightenment, the characters learn of a mysterious woman who has restored the temple of Memnon and gathered a band of misfits and homeless people to form a kind of sect. Memnon, she claims, is able to give them back the power and influence that they once had. They only have to follow her commands and soon they shall all bask in ever-lasting glory and joy.
In this Shadowdark adventure, the characters are hired to stop Memnon's cult. Such devout followers were vanquished decades ago by the forces of good but the world is changing and new sects pop everywhere as time goes on. The characters must descend into the dark temple, confront the crazed-eyed cultists that gather there, and fight with the terrible enchantress that brought the cult back to life.
This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
