599 Bands of Power
Added 2022-07-16 19:08:51 +0000 UTCDenizens of the Tower! Eons ago, a Master Forger named Ragar created a pair of bracelets with many encrusted rubies. The artifact became the means for a demon to communicate with the dwarf. The corrupted forger brought chaos to Terranton, the dwarven city within the Silver-Rock Mountains. However, the extreme power of the bracelets was his own demise. His soul was absorbed by them and he was never found again. Back then, dwarf leaders were unable to destroy the artifacts. And they were too scared of them to try to study or understand them. They were hidden.
But today, Terranton's expansion requires the city to seek more sources of income. They sent a group of prospectors to an ore-rich location but only one came back. The survivor claims they found an opening in the mountains that took them to a great hall. He says undead warriors attacked them in the dark. There is nothing they could have done. The heroes are hired to clear that place so the mine can be built. What they ignore, is that the Bands of Power were hidden there along with immortal guardians and deadly traps.
This is a level 7 delve-adventure about exploring an abandoned dwarven temple, finding an ancient, dreadful artifact, and unearthing a terrible threat from a bygone time.
