A Terrible Secret is Contained in the Crypt Below the Tree

Traveler! This adventure tells the story of the Tree-Bark Druids. A group of protectors of nature that goes back more than 300 years. Their long lifespans have allowed them to grow their numbers. Their leader, Wise Leaf, has seen the organization thrive since its foundation. One of the traditions he started, for example, was to bury their dead below a magical tree with an elder's face that rests at the center of their forest. A crypt under it was built to keep the ashes and remains of the Tree-Bark Druids.

Even they understood that all life came to an end. Either by natural causes or by defending the cause of the organization. Regardless of the reason, all druids deserve a place in the crypt below the tree. However, it has been 10 years since Wise Leaf passed ad was put in a place of honor in the crypt. Soothing Blossom took his place. Her ways are different from her predecessor. But the druids respect her position under all circumstances. They stayed loyal even after two of their fallen comrades were buried in a different manner. This didn't please the spirits of the undying druids under the crypt. Wise Leaf has come back from the dead to demand that the tradition is kept. He cannot control his thoughts completely and rage blinds him. But they attack the druids each night. Someone must intervene and settle this. Can Wise Leaf be reasoned with?

This is a level 5 adventure with a bit of exploration, investigation of a druid crypt in the forest, and the opportunity to keep the old ways of the druids! Here's a low-def preview of this illustration:

Down there, Wise Leaf holds a place of honor among the druids' fallen comrades. Wise Leaf is the first tribe leader to perish since their tribe was formed over 300 years ago.
