About next month(s) publications!

I hope you're all having a nice time and that life starts to get back on track!
Lately, I've been reading many games where the world is organized as a hex-crawl and very focused on traveling and stuff like that. I want to make a large area hex-crawl with detailed hexes and tons of stuff to find and visit. The project is large enough that it will take me at least a month or two to complete.
This is a similar thing to the Ardennia Regional Setting that I created here on Patreon. That was a 10 map project of maps 233 to 241. The one project I'm using for inspiration is the recent Neverland RPG by Andrew Kolb. I recommend it a lot. Well the map looks like this:

Like in this product. I'd create a regional map of 15-20 hexes and then dedicate the following publications to map out cities, settlements, or interesting locations (dungeons) in each hex. In the end, we'd have a full setting to explore but I'd make sure that most locations are still usable on their own.
I'd like to know the kind of regional setting you guys would be interested in (if any). Also, I'd love to hear any other opinions or suggestions about this:

Of the three you've mentioned, I have only played OotA. I didn't run it as a hexcrawl though. To be honest I didn't even know what a hex crawl was till a little bit ago.

2020-11-25 21:03:37 +0000 UTCOut of the Abyss has a go at a semi hexcrawl in the Underdark. But it was narrative driven than a sandbox. The Night Below was a semi hexcrawl but needed lots of development. Thus my call for an Underdark one.

2020-11-25 17:41:58 +0000 UTCThis is a great idea! I voted for desert, though might equally have voted for a frozen region, because I often find it hard to fill out these biomes in my own world building. Easy to have lots of featureless sand or the like. So I'd love to see what you do to populate such a region, though the other options are all great.

2020-11-25 16:43:50 +0000 UTCI really like how you mix things up and don't just stick to one style, one setting. I also love your backer interaction. I see cursed forest winning, but man uncharted lands would be so awesome. I think Dino monsters are so under utilized in D&D.

2020-11-25 15:25:22 +0000 UTCI would be most interested in a steaming jungle, subtropical woodland or sweeping grassland type, but well not on the menu it seems, perhaps next time. :)
