A lovecraftian chapel with an arcane stone idol!
Added 2020-02-29 18:07:54 +0000 UTCThis is a tier 1 (level 3-4) adventure about a strange new cult who kidnaps the cityfolk. None of them have ever escaped or been seen again. The cult’s lair is in an old ruined part of town in an underground complex known as the Chapel of the Ancients. It is an old construction built by an earlier civilization. The strange stone idol (see cover) in the altar hides a terrible secret. Its influence has caused the creation of the cult. It is not just a statue. Something terrible inside tries to crawl out to freedom, little by little.
This adventure has it all. There are roleplaying opportunities, underground exploration, and a BBEG mage with obscure intentions.

I just bought it. I'm going to use it for Aboleth's Lair in Kraken's Gamble. That's a decent add-on adventure for the famous "Where do I take them now?" Storm King's Thunder third chapter. Set in Yartar, it introduces the characters to the Kraken Society. It will work really well for that.

Thankfully he was already at the hospital so they were able to bring him back. If he'd been at home? Well, it could have ended very badly. Now it's just a matter of him getting a pacemaker put in and hopefully all will end well.mat
