If it comes down to a reasonable price on sale before Nintendo’s Mario offerings (so without a shadow of a doubt!) I may well pick this up to scratch my platforming itch

2024-09-26 12:29:01 +0000 UTCFeels like the consensus about this game has been basically 'A blatant ripoff of Super Mario Galaxy, and actually pretty good at it'. I do get the impression that mascot platformers are one of those genres that was discarded by the AAA sector for no actual good reason, because it turns out there's actually quite a demand for them.

2024-09-25 17:14:52 +0000 UTCI just traded in my PS5 a few weeks ago, right as Astro Bot was coming out. It had been months, if not a year, since I played anything on it. I could maybe have waited, but I wanted to get Spesss Muhreen Too, and I wanted to trade the PS5 before the Pro tanked the value.
