Wow, really glad two of you watched this classic. The 70s are often considered the last decade of the "Golden Age" of cinema. I hope you watch more, especially from Francis Ford Coppola.

2022-08-12 10:41:41 +0000 UTCAlthough this movie was released in 1972, this is considered one of the all time greatest movies ever made. When you talk classics this is always in the conversation. The evolution of Michael from decorated war hero to The Godfather by the end was an acting masterclass by Al Pacino, who played this role with such a calmness from start to finish. How right you both were in your comments about Michael during the movie were spot on. The baptism scene is so iconic, showing how far he truly had gone in gaining his revenge. Insightful as always. I was delighted to see it was the both of you doing this reaction to one of my favourite movies. This was incredible. Hope you watch Part 2. Part 3, well you can skip that. Thank You Michelle.
